Ordering

Wholesale Napkin Lead Time: Samples, Production and Shipping

A wholesale napkin order runs through four stages, and most delays happen in the first one. Knowing the realistic duration of each stage is the difference between stock arriving on time and an empty shelf.

The four stages

StageTypical durationWhat you control
1. QuotationHours to 1 dayClear spec: type, size, ply, quantity, destination
2. Samples5–7 daysApprove artwork and spec quickly
3. Production10–15 days after approvalLock the order and deposit
4. ShippingSea 25–40 days · Air 5–10 daysBook freight early in peak season

Where orders actually slip

Planning backwards

For a custom printed order you need roughly 6–9 weeks door to door by sea (1 week sampling + 2 weeks production + 4–6 weeks freight). Stock napkins from inventory move faster because sampling and production are already done. If you work to a fixed date, tell us the date at enquiry stage and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
